Long description

ALLISON is a night sky guide for iPhone. Point it at the sky to identify stars, planets, constellations and satellites, or ask ALLISON out loud, “Where’s Saturn?”, and follow a gold path to it. Answers come from Apple Intelligence running on the device, so ALLISON works at a dark site with no signal, and your iPhone taps faster as you close in on the target.

The sky is drawn like a classic star atlas: deep indigo, silver hairline constellation figures and illustrations that fade in when a constellation is centred. The catalog holds 99,000 Hipparcos stars, all 88 constellations, 846 deep-sky objects, the Sun, the Moon from a real NASA photograph lit to its current phase, the planets and their major moons, and the ISS and bright satellites live.

A Tonight dashboard, a sky calendar with alerts for eclipses, meteor showers and conjunctions through 2035, guided tours narrated by ALLISON, a 580-entry offline encyclopedia, 3D planet globes, a constellation quiz, star lore from Chinese, Norse, Māori and Hawaiian skies, time travel and red night mode are all free. ALLISON runs on iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch, with widgets and Siri shortcuts.

ALLISON Pro adds an observing log and lists, a sky forecast with a stargazing score and light-pollution map, and Live Activities for ISS passes. There are no ads, no accounts and no tracking.
